GVL's Water Guardian water leak detector works using a 9 volt on-board battery. The unit can be placed in almost any location where water is used and leaks may occur. The detector is able to be used where access is restricted, i.e. under baths, shower trays, vanity units etc.	It can also be placed in locker areas where pipework runs, as these pipes can easily be knocked or damaged when loading and unloading.   The 2 metre tail gives flexibility in locating the detector remotely from the sensor pads.
